A large rectangular wooden commercial sign for the British manufacturing firm Kynoch. The sign is constructed from a dark black painted wooden board featuring prominent hand-painted serif lettering in blue. The characters are accented with white outlines and subtle grey drop-shadowing to create a three-dimensional effect. Two metal hanging loops are fixed to the upper edge for mounting. Kynoch was a major British industrial firm based in Witton, Birmingham, known for the production of ammunition, sporting cartridges, and non-ferrous metals before becoming part of Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI).

Condition report:
The sign is in good vintage condition, showing authentic signs of age and industrial use. There is visible wear to the paintwork across the surface, including surface scuffs, scratches, and minor areas of paint loss, particularly along the edges and corners. The blue pigment in the lettering shows some tonal variation and light fading.
