It is equipped with a metal guide bar and a steel cutting chain. The side panel features manufacturer and model identification labels, with Makita in white on a red background and DCS 5000i in white and silver on a black background. This model was typically produced from the late 1990s through the early 2000s, often as a result of a manufacturing collaboration with Dolmar.
Condition report:
The chainsaw is in well-used, as-found condition. The exterior casing shows a heavy accumulation of sawdust, oil, and grime throughout. There are visible scuffs and areas of paint loss on the metal engine housing components. The metal guide bar and cutting chain show significant surface rust and wear. The item appears externally complete with the pull-start mechanism and fuel caps present. The mechanical condition and functional status of the engine have not been tested.
