A three-stone dress ring featuring a crossover or bypass shank design. The ring is constructed from 9 carat yellow gold with white metal settings for the gemstones. The centrepiece is an oval-faceted red gemstone, likely a ruby, measuring approximately 5mm x 4mm, held in a multi-prong claw setting. This is flanked by two small round-cut clear gemstones, presumably diamonds, each set within a decorative white metal illusion-style mount with a starburst motif. The interior of the shank contains hallmarks, although they are not clearly legible.
Size: UK M to M 1/2.
Condition report:
The ring shows signs of moderate wear consistent with an estate or pre-owned item. There is visible surface scratching and areas of dark tarnishing or discoloration on the yellow gold shank. The gemstones appear intact and are secure within their mounts.
