A set of fine bone china tableware in the Clementine pattern by Royal Wessex. The set comprises a pedestal teacup with an ornate scrolled handle, two matching saucers, one side plate, and one dinner plate. Each piece is decorated with transfer-printed floral sprays in shades of yellow, pink, and white with green foliage set against a white ground. All items feature gilded, scalloped rims. The base of each piece bears a backstamp with the pattern name CLEMENTINE in red uppercase letters. Below this is a script logo for Royal Wessex, flanked by the text TANG SHAN CHINA and FINE BONE CHINA. A small yellow floral decal is also present near the maker’s marks.
Condition report:
The items are in generally good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or evidence of repair. There is some minor surface dirt and light markings to the foot rims and undersides, consistent with age and occasional use. Bidders are advised to note potential minor wear to the gilded edges.
