A circular bone china posy bowl manufactured by Coalport, England. The item comprises a lobed white ceramic bowl containing a central arrangement of hand-modelled and hand-painted flowers. The bouquet includes a red rose, a purple anemone, a yellow rose, a pink carnation, and several blue forget-me-nots interspersed with green foliage. The base features a blue printed manufacturer’s mark with a crown, the words BONE CHINA, COALPORT, MADE IN ENGLAND, and EST. 1750, accompanied by a registered trademark symbol and a hand-painted green mark.
Condition report:
The ornament shows accumulated dust and grime within the floral cluster. There are minor chips and nibbles to the tips of some petals, particularly evident on the edges of the yellow rose. The bowl is free from visible cracks, crazing, or repairs.
