A 925 silver signet ring, crafted in the style of a traditional British sovereign ring. The central circular medallion features a relief depiction of St George and the Dragon. The medallion is set within a bezel characterized by diagonal grooved faceting. The shoulders of the ring are decorated with openwork filigree incorporating scrolling and heart-shaped motifs. The interior of the band bears several stamped marks, including the maker’s mark S&W, the anchor hallmark for the Birmingham Assay Office, and a fineness mark.

Condition report:
The ring is in fair condition with visible signs of wear. The band is notably misshapen and out of round. There is general surface scratching throughout the metal. A significant accumulation of tarnish and dirt is present within the recessed areas of the central relief and the openwork gallery.
