This lot consists of two pieces of vintage filmmaking equipment. The first is a Eumig 614 D silent film projector, produced in Austria. This is a dual-gauge unit compatible with both Super 8 and Standard 8mm film formats. The body is constructed from plastic and metal with a two-tone beige and black finish. Features include a speed selector dial for 6, 9, and 18 frames per second, a format switch, a focus adjustment knob, and a carrying handle. The projector is equipped with a Eumig Vario-Eupronet f/1.4 17-30mm zoom lens. It is accompanied by its original red manufacturer’s cardboard box and a grey power cable. The second item is a Minette Viewer Editor Eight, designed for Standard 8mm film. It features a heavy-duty metal body with a grey hammer-tone finish. The unit includes an integrated viewing screen, two fold-out rewind arms with manual plastic handles, and film path rollers. The screen hood bears the embossed Minette logo, and a metal nameplate is fixed to the base.
Condition report:
Both items are in good used vintage condition with minor surface wear and dust accumulation consistent with age. The projector lens appears clear upon visual inspection. The original Eumig box shows significant wear, including creasing, tearing to the lid, and previous tape repairs. The Minette viewer shows some light oxidation and minor paint loss to the metal components; the mechanical rewind arms operate smoothly. Both units are sold as seen and have not been tested for electrical safety or functional operation.
