A collection of vintage leaf-moulded and tomato-themed glazed earthenware tableware, characteristic of mid-20th century British manufacturers and often attributed to Shorter and Son, Beswick, or Carlton Ware. The items feature relief-moulded textures in a vibrant green glaze, with many pieces accented by hand-painted red tomatoes and butterfly motifs. The assortment includes two cabbage-head serving bowls of varying sizes, a tomato-shaped preserve pot, and a lidded butter dish on a leaf-shaped stand. Further serving pieces comprise a sauce boat with a matching stand, a pair of ceramic-handled salad servers with butterfly terminals, and a large circular divided hors d’oeuvre dish. Also present is a pierced colander-style fruit bowl and a small tripartite condiment dish. The collection is completed by a variety of leaf-shaped serving platters and side plates in assorted oval, round, and elongated forms, including one piece finished in a cream glaze.

Condition report:
The collection is in generally good vintage condition. Consistent with the age and nature of glazed earthenware, fine glaze crazing is visible on several items, most notably the tomato preserve pot. There are no major cracks or obvious signs of repair. Minor edge wear and small glaze flakes are present on some pieces, consistent with domestic use.
