A collection of British railway employee uniform items dating from the mid-1990s period of transition from British Rail to Railtrack. The group includes a heavy navy wool double-breasted overcoat, a matching peaked cap, a branded necktie, and a packaged shirt. The overcoat is constructed from navy blue wool or wool-blend fabric, featuring silver-tone metal buttons and two rectangular green enamel lapel pins depicting the British Rail double arrow logo. Attached yellow paper manufacturer’s tags specify Style 360 and Size 100R. The peaked cap is finished in matching navy wool with a black patent brim and a silver-tone metal British Rail cap badge. The white short-sleeved shirt remains sealed in its original plastic packaging with a Corporate Collection label and size 17 1/2 tag. The forest green necktie features the Railtrack name printed in white above a thin orange horizontal stripe.
Condition report:
The items are in excellent, unissued deadstock condition. The shirt is preserved in its original factory packaging. The overcoat retains original paper manufacturer\'s tags. No visible signs of wear, staining, or moth damage are present on the fabric components.
