A collection of giraffe-themed decorative items comprising several figurines and a piece of contemporary canvas art. The figurines include two cast metal examples with a textured brass finish, one depicted in a grazing pose and the other in a standing posture. Also included are two modernist metal figurines, one featuring a polished silver-toned finish and another in a copper tone with a translucent orange resin or glass inset. A hand-formed art glass figurine, in the style of Ngwenya Glass, features an elongated clear neck and a vibrant orange-pigmented body. A further figurine in a dark-toned material is partially visible. The accompanying rectangular canvas art depicts abstract patterns in earthy tan and brown tones, bearing the signature John Burns in the lower right corner.
Condition report:
The items are in good decorative condition. The metal figurines exhibit minor surface wear and light patination consistent with display. The art glass figurine appears free from chips, cracks, or internal bruising. The canvas is taut on its stretcher and shows no signs of damage or fading.
