A pair of professional road measuring wheels, identified by markings as products of the York Survey Supply Centre, England. These surveyor’s tools feature a yellow-painted steel frame and chrome-finished tubular metal handles terminating in ergonomic black plastic grips. Each unit is equipped with a large-diameter black plastic spoked wheel fitted with a solid rubber tyre. Mounted to the frame is a mechanical analogue counter housed in a yellow plastic casing, providing a five-digit readout calibrated in metres. Visible labels include York branding, Made in England marks, and a blue and white York Survey Supply Centre label. One unit carries a yellow sticker stating as condition is chargeable, and another features a small white label with digits 28043. The design is consistent with the Trumeter 5000 series measuring wheels.
Condition report:
The items are in used, field-worn condition with visible dirt on the wheels and tyres. The yellow painted frames exhibit minor scuffing and wear consistent with outdoor use. The chrome handles show light surface oxidation and pitting. Mechanical counters are present and appear intact; however, their accuracy and reset functions remain untested.
