A collection of philatelic items from the United Kingdom and St. Vincent. The lot includes UK First Day Covers for the 1980 Cornhill Insurance Centenary Test Match, bearing 17 1/2p stamps and pictorial circular date stamps from Lord’s Ground, Kennington Oval, and London NW8. Also present is a group of Sheffield Scout Post local charity issues from the Woodseats Venture Unit, comprising First Day Covers dated 1984 and 1989 along with stamp strips and multiples in 10p and 13p denominations. St. Vincent material consists of a 1879-1979 Sir Rowland Hill Centenary commemorative folder and several sheets of perforated stamps in 50c and $3 denominations.
Condition report:
Generally good condition throughout. Covers exhibit commemorative circular date stamps (CDS) with addresses present. Mint stamps and sheets appear to be in mint never hinged (MNH) condition with original gum. There is occasional light handling wear to the edges of the covers and the commemorative folder.
