A pair of vintage McDonald’s promotional enamel lapel pins issued to commemorate major international football tournaments. The first pin relates to the 1998 FIFA World Cup held in France, featuring the McDonald’s golden arches above the official tournament emblem, with a lower banner inscribed THE OFFICIAL RESTAURANT. This pin is still contained within its original clear plastic packaging. The second pin is a square metal badge for the UEFA Euro 96 tournament held in England, displaying the golden arches and McDonald’s Official Restaurant text above the EURO 96 England logo. The front of this pin is marked © 1994 UEFA TM. The reverse features a textured surface and is stamped GROUP II INC.
Condition report:
The 1998 World Cup pin is in good condition and remains in its original plastic packaging. The Euro 96 pin shows visible signs of age-related wear, including surface oxidation, patina, and minor scratches to the metal and enamel.
