A mechanical regulator-style clock by Highlands, featuring a mahogany-finished wooden case with a decorative scroll-top pediment and side finials. The glazed front door reveals a circular dial with a silvered chapter ring, black Roman numerals, and ornate black hands. The dial is accented with four brass-tone foliate spandrels set against a wood-effect background. The spring-driven mechanical movement has two winding apertures, indicating a strike function. The lower glazed panel is decorated with a gilt-effect oval border. Included are a three-prong winding key and a detached brass-faced pendulum. A spiral wire gong is mounted to the interior rear.
Condition report:
The case and dial are in good cosmetic condition. The pendulum is detached and remains in the base of the case with the winding key and a desiccant packet. The mechanical movement has not been tested for working order or accuracy.
