A single stone dress ring featuring a central circular cabochon-cut opal. The gemstone displays a play-of-colour with predominant green and orange flashes. The opal is secured within an eight-prong, scalloped petal-style belcher setting that is integrated into the wide, tapered shoulders of the 14 carat yellow gold band. Indistinct marks are present on the inner shank, which are not clearly legible.
