An assortment of contemporary and vintage style costume jewellery housed in three separate storage containers. The collection includes a large rectangular presentation case featuring a cream-coloured textured exterior accented with a diagonal red ribbon, with a red fabric and cream satin lining. Included is a small, rectangular hinged wooden box and a circular dark reddish-brown trinket pot with a domed lid decorated with iridescent shell floral inlay. The jewellery selection features a necklace of large spherical beads encased in black floral lace, multiple strands of black glass and plastic beads, red disc beads, and multi-coloured heishi style beads. Additional pieces include a silver-tone bell-shaped charm, a blue glass or stone pendant, and assorted metal and plastic hair accessories, including a pink glittery barrette. The items are constructed from base metals, plastic, glass, fabric, wood, and iridescent shell. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the items or the boxes.
Condition report:
The lot is in a mixed, used condition. Some wear is evident on the lace-covered beads and the exterior edges of the presentation case. The wooden and inlaid boxes show light surface marks and scuffs consistent with handling and age.
