A collection of two hand-painted Egyptian papyrus art panels, produced as late 20th-century decorative souvenir pieces. The works are executed in bright pigments with gold-tone accents on natural papyrus sheets, characterised by an irregular horizontal and vertical grain and deckled edges.
Central vertical panel: approximately 280mm x 210mm
Top horizontal panel length: approximately 450mm.
Condition report:
The collection is in good overall condition. The colours remain bright and vibrant throughout. The edges of the papyrus sheets show natural fraying and an irregular deckled appearance inherent to the material. There are no significant tears, stains, or visible foxing.
