A large three-light table lamp in the Art Nouveau style, featuring a central figural sculpture in the manner of Auguste Moreau. The sculpture depicts a standing female figure in classical flowing drapery, accompanied by two winged cherubs or putti, with one situated at her feet and the other perched upon her shoulder. The figures are set upon a naturalistic, grassy base. Rising from behind the central figure are three scrolling metal arms decorated with leaf motifs, each terminating in a frosted white glass shade of ruffled, floral form. The metalwork is finished with a dark brown and green verdigris-effect patina and is mounted on a tiered circular base. An area on the base appears to feature incised markings or a signature, but these are not clearly legible. The lamp is fitted with a modern black power cord, an in-line on/off switch, and a standard UK 3-pin plug.
Estimated Height: 70cm – 80cm.
Condition report:
The lamp is in good overall condition. The patinated finish shows light surface wear and minor rubbing consistent with age and use. The frosted glass shades appear to be free from visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The electrical components are modern, but the item is sold as a decorative object only. This lamp has not been PAT tested and must be inspected by a qualified electrician before use.
