Two pieces of English earthenware from the Palissy range, produced under the Royal Worcester Group. The lot comprises a tall vase with a bulbous body, slender tapering neck, and flared rim, alongside a cylindrical cachepot featuring a distinctive wavy, scalloped rim. Both items are fashioned from cream-coloured earthenware with a glossy glaze. The decoration consists of transfer-printed fruit and nut motifs in a naturalistic style, including illustrations of pineapple, strawberries, grapes, apples, cherries, and cobnuts. The vase includes a gold-gilded band around the foot ring. The base of each piece is marked with a black circular backstamp featuring a stylized crown above the text Palissy and ROYAL WORCESTER GROUP. The vase is further marked with hand-painted red numerals 9-2, and the cachepot bears the numerals 11-0.
Condition report:
Both items appear to be in good overall condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or signs of repair. Some minor shelf wear is present on the unglazed foot rims.
