A vintage circular leather pouffe or footstool of traditional Moroccan design. The item is constructed from multiple sections of aged brown leather. The top surface is comprised of a central circular panel with twelve radiating wedge-shaped segments. The body is formed from further stitched leather sections, with the joins accented by light-coloured leather piping. The pouffe is firmly stuffed and retains its rounded form. No maker marks or labels are visible on the exterior surfaces.
Condition report:
The leather exhibits a significant aged patina with widespread surface scuffing and wear to the grain. There are areas of minor cracking and localised surface damage consistent with age and long-term use.
