A lot comprising two glazed ceramic lidded novelty canisters, likely intended for use as cookie jars or storage containers. The first is modelled in the form of a seated white rabbit with a uniform high-gloss glaze. The second is modelled as a British bulldog with a tan and white coat, wearing a necktie decorated with a Union Jack flag pattern. Both figures are constructed with a horizontal seam around the neck, allowing the heads to function as lids. There are no visible manufacturer marks, stamps, or signatures on either item.
Condition report:
Both canisters are in generally good condition. The white rabbit shows some light surface marks and minor discolouration in the recessed areas of the moulding. No chips, cracks, or significant defects are apparent on either piece.
