An assortment of costume jewellery and accessories presented in a wooden jewellery box. The box features a hinged lid with a heart-shaped glazed inset containing a floral rose and leaf design. The interior is partitioned and lined with pink fabric. Included within the collection are several rings of various styles, such as a large white metal cluster ring set with blue faceted stones, a ring with a rectangular-cut pink stone, and a band set with marquise-cut green stones. One yellow metal band is inscribed with the name MUM on the inner circumference. The larger lower compartment contains a variety of tangled items including a rigid white metal bangle, silver-tone and gold-tone necklaces and chains, a circular red enamelled pendant with gold-tone accents, a silver-tone cross, a gold-tone heart-shaped pendant, and multiple other charms and glass beads. No purity marks or maker’s marks are clearly visible from the images.
Condition report:
The collection shows general signs of wear and age, including surface scratches, tarnishing, and minor abrasions. Items in the lower compartment are heavily tangled. The wooden box displays minor surface wear and dust accumulation consistent with use.
