An assortment of eight pieces of lead crystal glassware, primarily arranged as a vanity or dressing table set. The collection includes two pieces of Edinburgh Crystal in the Daphne pattern: a tapering oval-section vase and a matching small circular bowl. Both pieces feature wheel-engraved floral sprays, daisy-like flower heads, and leaf motifs. The vase bears the etched pattern name Daphne on the upper rim.
The set also contains several pieces of geometrically cut crystal including a large circular dressing table tray with a central starburst motif and arched panels of fan and cross-hatch cutting. A globular scent bottle is included, featuring deep geometric cuts and fitted with a brass-tone mount and a fabric-covered atomizer bulb with a long pink tassel. Also present is a pair of matching candlesticks with faceted stems and star-cut bases, a ring tree with a central glass spike, and a small footed bowl with complex star and diamond motifs.
Condition report:
The collection is in very good condition. The crystal is bright and clear with no visible signs of clouding or significant surface abrasions. No major chips or cracks are evident. The atomizer bulb and tassel are intact and appear well-preserved. There is minor shelf wear to the underside of the bases consistent with age.
