A Beswick earthenware figurine of a Guernsey bull, modeled as the prize-winning animal Champion Sabrina’s Sir Richmond. The figure is realistically modeled in a standing pose and finished with a high-gloss glaze. The decoration features the traditional Guernsey breed palette of golden-brown and white patches, with cream-coloured horns and hooves. The underside displays a printed black factory mark consisting of the word BESWICK above two horizontal lines and ENGLAND below. There is a hand-painted black over-glaze inscription reading CH. SABRINA’S SIR RICHMOND alongside a handwritten number 14 and a script decorator’s mark near a circular manufacturing vent hole.
Condition report:
The figurine is in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or evidence of restoration. The glossy glaze remains bright and clear.
