A lot containing two items of British railway memorabilia from the Regional Railways era. The first item is a vintage orange high-visibility safety waistcoat featuring two vertical white reflective bands and a central white patch printed with the black British Rail double arrow logo. The second item is a clear glass commemorative tankard presented in a blue cardboard box with a blue lining. The glass is etched with the inscription SHEFFIELD STATION FLOOD 21st DECEMBER 1991 accompanied by the Regional Railways logo and a small British Rail double arrow symbol. These items relate to the operational history of Sheffield station and the Regional Railways sector of British Rail during the early 1990s.
Condition report:
The safety waistcoat is in good condition with visible creasing from storage. The glass tankard appears in excellent condition with no visible chips or cracks. The blue presentation box shows light wear and minor scuffing to the exterior corners and edges.
