A collection comprising various framed artworks and empty picture frames. The lot includes two small rectangular needlepoint pictures depicting stylised rural landscapes with houses under vibrant, multi-coloured skies, presented in dark wood frames with gilt inner slips. Also included are two paintings: one depicting a figure in profile carrying a vessel on their head against a monochromatic yellow ground, and another showing a lone tree within a landscape, both set within wide, dark-stained wooden frames. The group is further composed of several empty picture frames of varying dimensions and finishes, including gilt, grey-painted, and natural light wood examples. One frame includes an off-white mount. The reverse of some frames shows standard backing board and hanging hardware.
Condition report:
Items generally appear in good condition, showing minor surface wear, scuffing, and signs of age consistent with previous use. Some frames exhibit light dust and minor marks to the glazing and finishes. The needlepoints appear well-preserved within their frames.
