A thirteen piece set of Venetian style ruby glass, possibly Murano or Bohemian in origin, dating to the mid-20th century. The collection comprises one decanter with a flared neck and globular body, a matching gilded stopper, six large rounded wine glasses, and six smaller flared liqueur glasses. The deep ruby glass is heavily embellished with gold gilding in scrolling foliate and lattice designs, accented with hand-painted raised enamel floral motifs in blue, yellow, white, and green. All vessels are supported by twisted wrythen stems on fully gilded circular feet. No maker marks or signatures are visible.
Condition report:
The set is in good vintage condition with minor, age-appropriate wear to the gilding, primarily observed on the rims and bases. No chips or cracks were detected during visual inspection. One wine glass is shown positioned horizontally in the overview photograph; no damage is apparent but stability should be verified.
