Description

A framed limited edition art print by Tony Smith entitled Hill Gets Hungary, depicting Damon Hill winning the 1995 Hungarian Grand Prix. The main colour illustration shows Hill in the Rothmans-liveried Williams FW17-Renault V10 crossing the finish line to take the chequered flag. The mount features two pencil-style remarque sketches, one depicting a pit stop scene and the other a racing helmet. The artwork contains a printed signature and date Tony Smith 95 within the image, and is hand-signed in pencil by the artist on the lower right of the mount. A printed description below the image provides details of the race held on 13 August 1995, noting Hill’s victory over team-mate David Coulthard. The print includes a limited edition number in pencil to the lower right, though it is partially obscured by the mount. The item is housed in a silver-tone metal frame with a wide off-white mount.

Condition report:

The item is in good display condition. The print surface and mount appear clean with no visible foxing or discolouration. The frame and glass are intact with only minor signs of handling consistent with age.
