Description
A trio of vintage wooden hand planes of English type, typically used for jointing and smoothing in traditional woodworking. Each tool is constructed with a solid hardwood block, an integrated wooden tote handle, a metal iron, and a wooden wedge for securing the blade. One metal iron features a circular stamped manufacturer’s mark. The collection includes a handwritten auction tag identifying the group as vintage large planes. The construction and form are consistent with 19th or early 20th-century English workshop tools.

Condition report:
The items exhibit an aged appearance with a natural patina throughout. Visible surface scratches, indentations, and wear are present on the wooden components, particularly at the soles and handles. The metal irons and associated parts show signs of oxidation and surface corrosion. All wear is consistent with historical workshop use and age.
