Description
A tall, minimalist studio pottery figure of a cat, constructed from glazed stoneware. The piece features a rectangular, block-like body transitioning into an elongated, curved neck and a rounded head. Decorative elements include incised whiskers and facial features, along with several impressed paw print motifs filled with a darker brown pigment. The surface is finished in a mottled and variegated cream and brown glaze with a glossy texture. The underside is unglazed, showing a light-coloured clay body, and bears a rectangular paper label with the handwritten number 722. No permanent maker’s marks or signatures are present.
