Description
A Beswick ceramic figurine of the Guernsey bull Champion Sabrina’s Sir Richmond 14th, model number 1451. Designed by Colin Melbourne and manufactured in Stoke-on-Trent, England, the figure is naturalistically modelled in a standing pose. The piece is finished in a high-gloss glaze with chestnut and white markings, cream-coloured horns, and hooves. The underside features a black stamped factory mark for BESWICK ENGLAND and a hand-painted inscription in black script reading CH. SABRINA’S SIR RICHMOND 14th. A small circular firing vent is present on the underside of the belly.
Condition report:
The figurine is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or crazing. There is no evidence of repair or restoration.
