Description
A contemporary cocktail ring featuring a large rectangular cushion-cut tablet of bicoloured fluorite, with characteristics consistent with Blue John. The gemstone exhibits natural colour zoning, transitioning from a translucent pale golden-yellow to a deep violet-purple. The stone is held in a polished bezel setting on a plain, polished D-section shank. The inner shank is stamped with the fineness mark 925 for silver and marked with an infinity symbol maker mark.
Condition report:
The ring is in good overall condition with light surface wear and minor scratches to the silver band consistent with use. The gemstone displays natural internal inclusions and some minor surface-reaching fissures typical of this mineral variety.
