Description
A collection of three decorative elephant figurines. Two are hand-blown art glass examples in the Murano style, featuring internal colour cores encased in clear glass; one displays a smoky blue-grey core and the other a pink core. Both glass pieces are stylised with raised trunks and rounded ears. The third figurine is a minimalist carving executed in a red stone, possibly soapstone, with a matte finish. No maker’s marks or signatures are present.
Condition report:
The pink glass elephant has a clear break with loss to the tip of the trunk. The blue-grey glass elephant appears in good condition with some internal air bubbles present from the manufacturing process. The red stone elephant is in generally good condition with some minor surface scuffing.
