Description
A collection of 2Life brand high-tensile galvanised barbed wire rolls, manufactured in Sheffield. The wire is constructed to BS EN 10223 standards and coated to BS EN 10244 – 1/2 specifications. The lot includes rolls of various lengths, with labels identifying 100-metre and 200-metre units. The wire is configured in a double-strand twist with four-point barbs. Each roll is mounted on a heavy-duty wooden cross-spool dispensing frame designed for transport and deployment. Several frames feature integrated carrying handles constructed from hessian or heavy canvas. Markings include red 2Life brand labels and various white paper identification tags stapled to the timber frames.
Condition report:
The items are unused commercial stock in new old stock condition. The galvanised wire appears in good functional order. The wooden dispensing frames show signs of significant weathering, including silvering of the timber and surface grime consistent with outdoor or warehouse storage.
