Description
This lot features a pair of realistic figurines depicting yellow Labrador Retriever puppies, consistent with designs produced by Sandicast. Each figure is constructed from a heavy cast resin or composition material, featuring a highly textured surface to replicate the appearance of fur. One model portrays a seated puppy in a scratching pose, wearing a red rubberised collar. The second model is depicted in a recumbent position with its head resting near its forepaws. Both figurines include inset glass or plastic eyes for a lifelike appearance. The pieces are finished in a pale buff tone with darker shaded detailing to the ears and paws. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the exterior surfaces.

Recumbent puppy: 16 cm (H) x 36 cm (L).
Condition report:
The figurines are in generally good condition. There is a small area of white scuffing or paint loss visible on the tip of the nose of the recumbent puppy. Minor surface dust and light wear are present, consistent with previous display.
