Description
A 925 silver decorative spoon featuring an oval bowl and a straight stem. The stem is bordered on both sides with decorative rope-twist wire. The handle is finished with an elaborate openwork filigree terminal in a mandorla shape. This terminal is constructed from fine twisted wires forming scrolls and concentric circular patterns, accented with two small floral motifs, one at the top and one at the junction with the stem. The intricate filigree work is characteristic of Mediterranean or Continental silver traditions. No hallmarks or maker’s marks are visible in the provided images.
