Lot 383:
Description
Attributed to the Imperial Glass Company, this pair of carnival glass vases is executed in the Loganberry pattern. The vases are constructed from deep amethyst pressed glass with a vibrant iridescent surface finish displaying a spectrum of purple, emerald green, and blue tones. The bulbous body of each vase is decorated in high relief with clusters of fruit and vine leaves. The neck features vertical ribbing and a decorative foliate band situated below a ruffled, scalloped rim. The items are produced using a pressed or moulded glass technique, resulting in sharp, repetitive relief details. No maker marks are visible on the body or neck of the pieces.
Height: 190mm.
Condition report:
The vases appear to be in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The iridescent finish remains bright and is well-preserved across the relief patterns.
