Description
A lot of two glazed ceramic novelty items. The first is a figure of a seated Scottish Terrier dog, finished in a black glaze. The figure features a red and yellow tartan collar with a gold-tone circular medallion embossed with the letters RE. The second item is a storage jar modelled as a chef. The character is depicted wearing a large white toque, which functions as the lid, and a blue jacket with blue-and-white chequered trim. The chef is shown holding a wooden spoon and a whisk.
Scottish Terrier Height: Approximately 21 cm
Chef Storage Jar Height: Approximately 24 cm.
Condition report:
The Scottish Terrier figure is in generally good condition with no visible chips or repairs to the exterior. The chef storage jar has a significant chip to the interior rim of the base where the lid rests. The interior shows light surface dirt and residue. The lid appears intact.
