Description
A collection of four glazed ceramic figurines depicting Siamese cats in various naturalistic poses. The group consists of one large seated cat, two large crouching or lounging cats, and one small standing kitten. Each figurine features a high-gloss overglaze with the characteristic cream-coloured body and dark brown seal points on the ears, facial masks, paws, and tails. The cats are finished with painted blue eyes. The modelling and decorative style are consistent with mid-century British ceramic manufacturers such as Coopercraft, Beswick, or SylvaC. No factory marks, signatures, or model numbers are visible on the bodies of the items.
Large Seated Cat: Height approx. 35cm
Crouching Cats: Length approx. 30cm.
Condition report:
The collection appears to be in generally good vintage condition with bright, reflective glazes. A minor white mark or small chip is noted on the tip of the right ear of the large seated cat. No other significant chips, cracks, or visible repairs are apparent from the provided images.
