Description
A large glazed ceramic figurine of a seated spaniel, naturalistically modelled in a seated position with long, wavy ears and inset amber-coloured eyes. The dog is finished in a cream-toned glaze with dark liver-brown markings to the face, ears, and body. The modelling and finish are in the style of mid-20th-century British commercial pottery manufacturers such as Melba Ware or Beswick. No maker marks or stamps are visible on the body of the item.
Height: 29 cm.
