The piece features a thick, rounded, out-turned rim and a corresponding flared base. The item is open at both ends. The exterior surface exhibits heavy natural weathering and a prominent dark horizontal band around the midsection, consistent with historical soot exposure. There are traces of organic growth on both the interior and exterior surfaces. No maker’s marks or stamps are visible.
Height: Approximately 23 cm
Base Diameter: Approximately 21 cm
Rim Diameter: Approximately 26 cm.

Condition report:

The item is in a heavily weathered condition. There are numerous small chips and abrasions to the rim and the base. The exterior surface shows significant scaling and loss of the top layer of clay in several areas. Staining from soot and organic growth is present throughout.
