Description
An assortment of artworks primarily depicting maritime and waterfront subjects. The principal work is a print on paper by Gerard Paraghamian, titled On the Waterfront – Vancouver in the lower margin. It features a view of the Vancouver skyline with a vessel in the foreground and is signed by the artist in pencil to the lower right. The piece is presented in a silver-toned frame with a cream mount. The collection also includes a large landscape-oriented print of a busy harbour filled with masted sailing ships and a coastal town, set within a dark wood frame and a textured hessian mount. Also included is a small oil or acrylic painting on board showing a red-hulled boat moored in a harbour, held in a light wood frame. The group is completed by a small framed print depicting a river or canal scene with historical buildings, matted in brown within a dark wood frame.
Condition report:
The works are in generally good condition. There is a visible area of discolouration or foxing to the lower right of the mount on the Gerard Paraghamian print. Minor surface wear and scuffing are present on the wooden frames.
