Description
A contemporary nautical-themed novelty mantel clock and desk stationery set. The case is constructed from a dark wood-effect composite material with a polished finish, featuring brass-toned metal and plastic accents including a ship’s wheel frame, decorative anchor, and chains. The primary clock is set within the ship’s wheel and features a dial illustrated with a sailing ship at sea. The dial includes black Arabic numerals, ornate black hour and minute hands, a red sweep seconds hand, and decorative text reading About our story could make you happy make you feel my love. The base of the unit consists of a hinged stationery compartment designed to hold pens and small desk items. Set into the lid of this compartment is a secondary smaller clock with a black dial, white Arabic numerals, and a stylised world map background marked with New York, Paris, and London. Both timepieces utilise quartz battery-powered movements. The smaller clock includes an integrated alarm function with an On/Off switch located on the reverse of the housing.

The item shows light wear and surface marks consistent with use as a desk organiser. The quartz movements are currently untested and will require new batteries.
