Lot 316:
Description
A collection of decorative fairy or cherub ornaments, each depicting a young child in various poses including seated, reclining, and lying prone. The figures are positioned on bases shaped like broad leaves. Each ornament is crafted from a cold-cast resin or composite material with a matte, hand-painted finish. The figures wear textured outfits and matching bonnets, all detailed with glitter accents. Each figure features a pair of wire-framed, glittered mesh wings. The ornaments are fitted with gold-tone hanging cords and circular gold-coloured cardboard tags. Similar items are frequently attributed to the Giovanni Collection by Turtle King Corp or the New Century series. Note: An image of a Royal Doulton bone china backstamp is included in the documentation; however, this mark corresponds to a glazed ceramic surface and does not belong to these resin figurines, which are of unknown manufacture.
Condition report:
The items are in good overall condition. The mesh wings remain intact, though some may require minor reshaping due to storage. There are no visible chips, repairs, or missing parts to the resin bodies.
