Description
A collection of 925 silver items comprising British coinage and various small metal objects. The numismatic portion includes a 1917 one shilling, a 1933 three pence, and circulated issues featuring portraits of Queen Victoria and King George V. Visible legends include FID: DEF: IND: IMP: and GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX. The lot also contains a curb-link chain, an embossed metal fragment with floral scrollwork, and a trio of circular tags stamped with the names ELLIOTT, ALFIE, and EVA. Two spoons are present; one with an ornate openwork finial featuring a cross and another with a plain handle.
