Description
A Tiffany & Co. 1837 wide band ring, also known as a cigar band, crafted from 925 silver. The design features a distinctive concave profile with a high-polish finish. The exterior of the band displays three sets of stamped marks: the numerical fineness mark 925 contained within a hexagonal cartouche, the characters T & CO in a serif typeface, and the year 1837 contained within a rounded rectangular cartouche. The interior of the band is smooth and polished. Due to the significant width of the band, this ring may fit more tightly than a standard narrow band of the same size.

Condition report:
The item is in fair to good used condition. There are visible surface scratches, scuffs, and minor nicks across the exterior and interior surfaces, consistent with regular wear and the properties of sterling silver. Natural tarnish is present within the recessed areas of the stamped marks. The band maintains its circular form without significant deformation.
