Description
A pendant necklace featuring a large pear-shaped cabochon of Derbyshire Blue John. The stone displays characteristic colour zoning with bands of deep purple, honey-yellow, and dark brown. The pendant is held in a 925 silver bezel setting with a plain, tapered bail. It is suspended from a fine 925 silver snake chain. No hallmarks or maker’s marks are visible on the metalwork.
Pendant height including bail: approximately 40-50mm
Chain length: approximately 45-50cm.
Condition report:
Good overall condition. The stone exhibits natural internal inclusions and colour variations typical of the mineral. The silver metalwork shows light surface wear and minor scuffing consistent with age and use.
