Description
This lot comprises three vintage die-cast metal toy vehicles from various manufacturers. The first is a Matchbox Models of Yesteryear 1933 Morris Pantechnicon featuring a yellow body with Weetabix More than a Breakfast Food and Made in England decals. The black plastic base is embossed with Matchbox Intl. Ltd, Models of Yesteryear, Made in China, and a 1989 copyright date. The second is a Hot Wheels Fire Chief car, a Ford LTD casting, featuring a red body with Fire Chief and 51 shield decals. The silver-tone metal base is embossed with Hot Wheels, Mattel Inc 1977, and Malaysia. The third is a Corgi Motorway Ambulance with a white body and a red-painted metal base. It features blue-tinted plastic windows, blue roof lights, and a roof sign with Accident in red lettering. The base is embossed with Motorway Ambulance, Corgi, and Made in Gt. Britain.
Condition report:
The vehicles are in play-worn condition. The Matchbox Morris Pantechnicon shows generally good condition with minor paint rubbing and small chips to the raised edges of the roof and rear. The Hot Wheels Fire Chief car shows significant signs of play wear, including extensive paint chipping and loss across the body. The Corgi Motorway Ambulance is in well-used condition with heavy paint loss and chipping across the white body. No original packaging is present for any of the items.
