Description
T The works depict figurative subjects in a traditional Indian folk-inspired style. The subjects include a pair of seated women with baskets of produce, a male figure with a moustache and orange turban holding a staff, and a male figure in a red turban playing a flute. The style is characterised by a vibrant, saturated colour palette and stippled brushwork that highlights the texture of the canvas support. Each work is signed vertically along the right edge Santosh Patil. The canvases are unframed and the imagery extends to the edges.
