Description
An assortment of vintage personal and medical collectables. The group includes a rectangular silver-tone metal cigarette case featuring an engine-turned pinstripe and chevron pattern with a rectangular monogrammed plaque to the upper left corner. Also included is a small cast metal figurine depicting a man in a cap and work attire, standing on a circular integral base with a dark patinated finish. The collection further comprises lithographed metal first-aid tins, including an Elastoplast assorted waterproof dressings tin and a Johnson & Johnson Band-Aid sterile dressings tin. The tins feature mid-century graphic designs and are marked as manufactured in England.
Condition report:
The items exhibit varying degrees of surface wear, tarnishing, and minor oxidation consistent with age and previous use. The lithographed tins show some scratches and paint loss to the edges. The cigarette case shows light surface scratching and the figurine displays a darkened patina.
